New website up and running! 11-01-2012
We are thrilled to announce the launch or our new website – hope you like it as much as we do!
It’s been a while now since the last car spluttered to the finish line, and we are now counting the days until next summer!
Registration is open on all the 2012 routes, teams are already signing up and cars are being coaxed back into life. Alongside all the bright-eyed new faces, we would LOVE to see some familiar faces on the 2012 routes, and I know that lots of you are game for another rally. For those intrepid few of you that have done Split AND Run already (and for anyone else that fancies it) there is our brand spanking new route, Sucata Budapest, which will be totally EPIC! Weaving through the lakes and mountains of France, Germany, Italy and Austria, we head East to Budapest, an exceptionally beautiful city (with INCREDIBLY cheap beer...)
Dates for the 2012 routes are as follows:
Sucata Split: 31st May – 4th June
Sucata Budapest: 26th – 30th July
Sucata Run: 23rd – 27th August
Registration is now just £25 per person, with the total amount per team capped at £100.
Each participant has a goal to raise a minimum of £250.00, ALL of which goes directly to aid the efforts of Gemin-i.
The money raised through last year’s rallies has made a HUGE difference to Gemin-i’s work. Through Gemin-i’s HIV360 programme, children across the world have been learning up HIV and AIDS and sharing this knowledge with family, friends and communities. Some of the children who have been involved in the project have even taken it to the level of political campaigns - in South Africa and the UK children even had the chance to present their ideas to Parliament.
The project continues to grow and spread and the money raised through these rallies continues to have a huge impact.
